1. The guy who plays the lead really isn't a good actor.
2. The girl who plays Jule is a pretty bad actress.
3. Jule's mother is supposed to be evil but there is no foreshadowing of this before we hear about her plan.
4. You know Jule's mother is going to get burned to a crisp by the dragon/horse all along.
