RICHARD SYRETT SHOW CANCELLED

Richard Syrett has been fired from Cfrb.

First of all, let me say I do not believe this was part of a conspiracy against the Canadian alternative media. Astral Media, the company that owns Cfrb has fired several people recently, due to the economic slowdown. Syrett worked the late evening shift and was therefore dispensable. You don't generally fire your afternoon drive guy or morning show host when you have to make cutbacks.

Second, by cancelling The Richard Syrett show, Cfrb has signed it's own death warrant. They now have nothing worth listening to. (Well, maybe on the weekends but nothing ever stays in one time slot long enough for me to check it out.)

I'm sorry he was fired. I listened to him on and off when working late but did not believe 98% of what his often crazy guests came up with.
However, I do want this question asked: Why have no main stream media come up with a definitive answer to Obama's birth place? Surely, it's not rocket science to nail this one down 100%.

richard's firing cpuld not have happen to a nicer guy... the show was a poor take on coast to coast and richard has been riding john oakley's coattails for too many years and finally got caught

I must admit, the show did seem like a poor man's Coast To Coast at times. Could you please elaborate with regards to Richard riding John Oakley's coattails. I think I have a bit of an idea what you mean since he was Oakley's producer for several years.

he was always best as Oakley's producer and when he begin to think that he could be more, he found himself back at CFRB. None of his solo ventures were successful. There was no conspiracy, he was no threat, he just had no audience!

He seemed to have a large audience?

catch him on twitter...big audience

kudos to richard syrett for trying so hard ... he's still talking about whether or not elvis is still alive... i mean seriously why not investigate the boogie man in the closet or was it under the bed... another conspiracy in the making

I'm still a fan of Richard.

My theory is Elvis was murdered. He was too precious of a commodity to let grow old and stail. I mean, you wouldn't have wanted to see him onstage singing "Love Me Tender" at 75.

TIRED OF RICHAARD, THE GUY HAS AS MANY SIDE DISHES/JOBS AS A SHORT ORDER COOK ... I MEAN SERIOUSLY WEDDING DECORATOR WHAT HAPPENED WHERES THE JUSTICE

Alex Horton said...

His website shows no evidence that he is working as a wedding decorator. Besides, these days you have to have more side dishes than a short order cook just to make ends meet.

as a so called "fan" do you not check his twitter? trust me wedding decorator, teaching(you know what they say about those who teach) whatever a real go getter

I see by his Twitter feed that he is indeed working as a wedding decorator. I stand corrected.
